Der agritouristische Betrieb "I Giardini di Itti" befindet sich in Rossano Scalo (Cosenza) und nur 3 km vom Meer entfernt. Das antike Landhaus aus der Zeit um 1600 gehört seit jeher der Familie Cherubini und wurde von der jetzigen Besitzerin restauriert, der Baronin Bebè Cherubini, die sich persönlich der Führung der Anlage widmet. Die Landwirtschaft verfügt über ca. 16 ha Land; Zitrusfrüchte, Oliven und Gemüse werden ausschliesslich biologisch angebaut und verarbeitet. Im Garten befinden sich lange Tische, an denen das Frühstück und alle weiteren Mahlzeiten eingenommen werden; abends verbreiten Lichter in den Bäumen eine ganz besondere Atmophäre. Vom Hof aus erreicht man ausserdem den Bereich, in dem sich die Gästezimmer befinden. Die Zimmer haben bis heute den originalen Stil der antiken Wohnungen der Landbevölkerung bewahrt, mit Fussböden aus Terracotta und einem kleinen Kamin (kann im Winter benutzt werden). Alle Zimmer sind mit ganz individuellen Bildern mit ländlichen Motiven ausgestattet, an denen ihre Namen inspiriert sind.

L’azienda agrituristica "I Giardini di Iti" è situata a Rossano Scalo (Cosenza) e si trova a soli 3 km dal mar Ionio. L'antico casale del ‘600, sin da allora proprietà della Famiglia Cherubini, è stato ristrutturato dall’attuale proprietaria, Baronessa Bebè Cherubini, che lo conduce direttamente. Circondato da una masseria di circa 16 ettari, produce agrumi, ulivi ed ortaggi coltivati biologicamente. Nel giardino lunghi tavoli riuniscono gli ospiti per la colazione, i pranzi e le cene, e la sera le luci nascoste tra le fronde degli alberi, creano un’atmosfera particolarmente suggestiva. Dalla corte si accede, inoltre, ad un’altra ala, dove vi sono altre camere. Le camere del Casale hanno conservato molto della fisionomia originale delle vecchie abitazioni dei contadini da cui sono state ricavate, con i pavimenti in cotto, il caminetto (funzionante nel periodo invernale) e gli infissi in legno. Tutte le camere sono personalizzate con artistici dipinti agresti, da cui derivano i loro nomi.

The farm “Il giardino di Iti” is situated near Rossano (Cosenza) and it is only 3 km away from the Ionic Sea. The ancient building dates back to the XVII century, when it already belonged to the Cherubini family. The proprietor – the baroness Bebè Cherubini – has restored it, and runs the farm and tourist activities directly. The building is located in a farm of about 16 hectares, which produces citrus fruits, olives and vegetables, all of them biologically cultivated. The inhabited side of "Il giardino di Iti" can be reached through a big portal leading to the courtyard, where the entrances to the rooms are situated. The rooms also have a second door leading to an inside garden, with lawn and orange trees. this garden the guests can eat in the shade of the trees, while in the evening a suffused light, hidden among the trees’ leaves, creates a particularly suggestive atmosphere. The rooms still have the ancient look of the peasants’ houses they were in the old days. There is “cotto” floor and a fireplace (still working), and wooden frames in each room.
