Hotel “Il Casale” liegt am See von Bracciano, 30 km von Rom entfernt, mitten im römischen Etrurien. Das Hotel, mit 100 Betten, hat kleine Bungalows, jedes mit Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer, Bad mit Dusche und einer offenen Veranda. Es liegt innerhalb eines großen Parks, wo sich ein kleiner See, ein Tennisplatz und ein Mehrzweckspielplatz befinden. Ausserdem stehen zwei Swimmingpools zur Verfügung, eines von 25x12,5 m und ein kleineres für Kinder. Nur 50 Meter vom Hotel entfernt liegt der See wo man segeln, surfen, rudern und schwimmen kann; ausserdem besteht die Möglichkeit zu tauchen, um archäologische Unterwasserphotos zu machen. Im Park des Hotels befinden sich Reste einer römischen Wasserleitung, erbaut von Kaiser Trajan im 1. Jahrhundert n. Ch. Das milde Klima erlaubt auch im Winter schöne Spaziergänge rund um den geschützten Naturpark des Sees und Ausflüge in das antike Etrurien. Nur 20 Minuten entfernt befinden sich die berühmten etruskischen Gräber von Cerveteri. In weniger als 1 Stunde erreicht man antike Städtchen wie Sutri, Tuscania und Tarquinia. Zwei antike römischen Konsularstrassen durchqueren die ganze Gegend, die via Clodia und die via Cassia. Die Nähe Roms erlaubt es tagsüber die Ewige Stadt zu besuchen und abends wieder im Grünen und der Ruhe des Landes zu sein.

Sul lago di Bracciano, a 30km da Roma in piena Tuscia Romana, è situato l’albergo “Il Casale”. Il complesso alberghiero, di 100 posti letto, è un insieme di 26 casette ognuna composta da saloncino, camera da letto, veranda e bagno con doccia. L’albergo è immerso in un grande spazio verde. Comprende un laghetto, un campo polifunzionale (tennis, calcetto) e due piscine: una per bambini e l’altra ampia di mt. 25x12,5. Il lago, che dista 50 metri dall’albergo, offre la possibilità di praticare dello sport quale vela, surf, canottaggio e fotografia archeologica subacquea. Nel parco dell’albergo si trovano i resti dell’acquedotto Traiano Paolo del 1° secolo d.C. Il clima del lago è mite anche in inverno permettendo passeggiate in zona naturalistica protetta ed escursioni nell’antica Etruria. Le famose tombe di Cerveteri sono a 20 minuti di macchina, le antiche città etrusche quali Tuscania, Tarquinia, Sutri, etc. distano meno di un’ora. Due antiche strade consolari romane, la via Cassia e la via Clodia, percorrono la zona rendendola molto interessante.

Hotel “Il Casale” is situated  at 18 miles from Rome on the Bracciano Lake in the middle of the Roman Tuscia. The hotel has a capacity of 100 beds in 26 little houses; each has a living room, bedroom, bathroom with shower and veranda. The residential complex is surrounded by a large park with a small lake, a tennis court, a multipurpose playing field (football pitch, etc) and two swimming pools, one for children and one of 25x12,5 metres. The Bracciano Lake, 50 metres from the hotel, offers the possibility to practice sports like sailing, surfing, canoeing and archaeological photo–diving. In the park of the hotel you can admire the rests of the Roman aqueduct built by Trajan in the 1° century a. Ch. The climate is temperate allowing also in wintertime to take a walk in the wildlife reserve around the lake. You can reach the famous Etruscan necropolis of Cerveteri in only 20 minutes by car. Excursions in ancient towns like Sutri, Tuscania, and Tarquinia are possible in less than one hour. Two ancient Roman roads cross the whole area, the via Cassia and via Clodia. Rome is close by and permits to visit the Eternal City, being back in the evening to the tranquillity and peace of the countryside.
