B&B Piazzasanpantaleo liegt im Kern der historischen Altstadt von Sorso, seine Räume atmen das Flair der frühen Zwanziger Jahre. Das Haus hat einen separaten Eingang für die Gäste. In jedem seiner vier Stockwerke offenbaren kleine Details und seltene Stücke die Züge seines ganz besonderen Charakters. Im Erdgeschoß, zwischen den Gewölben und Bögen aus Kalkstein, die man in der ersten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts anfertigen ließ, laden wir Sie an unserer Weinschänke zum Verkosten von hochwertigem Öl und Qualitätsweinen ein. Stufen aus Marmor, Schiefer oder Holz führen zu den elegant und geschmackvoll möblierten, geräumigen Gästezimmern hier können Sie sich ungestört entspannen. Alle Zimmer haben privates Bad. Das Haus hat nur eine einzige Veränderung erfahren, ein Zugang zur Terrasse wurde geschaffen. Der Glockenturm der Kirche San Pantaleo erhebt sich über ihr, und man blickt auf den Golf von Asinara- kein schöneres Plätzchen, um sich Momenten friedlicher Entspannung hinzugeben, während man einen Sonnenuntergang erlebt, so zauberhaft, wie er selten sonst in Sardinien zu sehen ist. Und an diesem wundervollen Fleckchen servieren Ihnen die Hausherren ein erlesenes Frühstück Köstlichkeiten aus Früchten, frisches Brot, Marmelade und hausgemachtes Gebäck.

IL B&B Piazzasanpantaleo si trova nel cuore del centro storico di Sorso, la sua atmosfera ci riporta ai primi anni venti del Novecento. Ha un ingresso indipendente per gli ospiti e si sviluppa su quattro livelli, in ognuno dei quali è possibile, grazie a piccoli dettagli e curiosità, trovare tracce del suo particolare carattere. Al piano terra, con volte in pietra calcarea realizzate nella prima metà del XIX secolo, la cantina dove è possibile degustare olio e vini di qualità. Scale in marmo, in ardesia o in legno servono le eleganti e spaziose camere arredate con gusto e tutte dotate di servizi privati in grado di assicurare la riservatezza degli ospiti. Gli attuali proprietari hanno inteso conservare e valorizzare, nel recente restauro, sia la forma e la distribuzione degli ambienti, sia quegli elementi come porte, volte decorate, solai in legno, pavimenti in antica graniglia che testimoniano la storia dell’edificio. L’unica innovazione, è l’accesso al terrazzo che guarda il mare del golfo dell’Asinara e sul quale si impone il campanile della vicina chiesa di San Pantaleo, ambiente ideale per lasciarsi andare a momenti di distensione, contemplando uno dei tramonti più incantevoli della Sardegna. E’ in questa cornice che i padroni di casa servono le raffinate colazioni a base di frutta, pane locale, marmellate e dolci casalinghi.

An example of Art Nouveau in the very heart of Sorso, the atmosphere of B&B Piazzasansantaleo will take you back to the 1920's. The house has an independent entrance for the guests. On each of its four floors, little details will speak about its character: for example, in the cellar, built in the first half of the XIXth century with limestone vaults, people can taste wines and olive oils of excellent quality. When Cristina and Giovanni refurbished the house, they made sure that it kept the original characteristics that bear witness to the history of the building: frescoes, wooden lofts, mosaic floors and doors; marble, slate and wooden stairs lead to the elegant rooms tastefully furnished and all with their own facilities for our guests to enjoy their privacy. Only the terrace overlooking the Golfo dell'Asinara has been recently added: it is an ideal place where to relax listening to music, reading or just enjoying one of the most beautiful sunsets in Sardinia! It is there that lavish and delicious breakfasts are served: fresh fruits and homemade jams and marmalades, bread and cakes as well as teas and coffees.
