Hotel Gran Bretagna befindet sich im historischen Zentrum von Syrakus, im Herzen der Gegend, die „Isola di Ortiga“ genannt wird und nur wenige Meter vom Meer entfernt ist. Das Haus verdankt seinen Namen den Engländern, die unterwegs nach Malta waren und es aufgrund der günstigen Lage bevorzugten. Die Nähe zu Monumenten, Museen, dem Strand, Lokalen und Geschäften ermöglicht einen Urlaub zwischen Kultur, Erholung und Unterhaltung. Die komfortablen Zimmer verfügen über Klimaanlage, Heizung, TV, Telefon, Kühlbar, sowie Badezimmer mit Haartrockner. Das Hotel verfügt ausserdem über einen Aufenthalts- und Leseraum, eine Sonnenterrasse und einen Frühstücksraum, in dem typisch sizilianische Produkte serviert werden. L'Hotel Gran Bretagna è ubicato nel quartiere ottocentesco dell'isola di Ortigia, centro storico di Siracusa, a pochi metri dal mare. Deve il suo nome agli Inglesi che, diretti a Malta, lo preferivano per la posizione favorevole alle attività commerciali. La vicinanza a monumenti, musei, lidi balneari, locali notturni e negozi consente di conciliare cultura, relax e shopping. Gran Bretagna Hotel is located in the historical center of Siracuse, in the very heart of the area called „Isola di Ortiga“, only a few steps away from the coast. The excellent position of the hotel enables our guests to visit the isle of Ortigia on foot. The name of the hotel is dedicated to the british travellers ontheir way to Malta, who chose the hotel because of its' ideal position. The closeness to monuments, museums, seaside resorts, night clubs and shops permits to conciliate culture, relax and shopping. Accomodation can be in single, double, triple and four bed rooms. All the rooms are provided with air conditioning, central heating, colour tv, telephone, bar fridge, private bathroom with shower and hair-dryer. The hotel is also endowed with a reading lounge, a sun terrace and a beautiful breakfast hall where breakfast is served with typical sicilian products.
