Hotel Gutkowski ist ei kleinesHotel mit 25 Zimmern in zwei antiken Bauten, die früher von Handwerkern und Fischern bewohnt wurden und die mit Respekt für den traditionellen Stil und gleichzeitig mit Augenmerk auf modernen Komfort renoviert wurden. Das Hotel befindet sich an der östlichen Strandpromenade, in Ortigia, dem historischen Zentrum der Stadt, von wo man aus die Monumente, sowie Bars und Restaurants zu Fuss erreichen kann. Das Frühstück besteht aus lokalen, biologischen Produkten: frisch gepresster Orangensaft im Winter, Mandelmilch und „Granita“ (gekörntes Frucht- oder Mandeleis) im Sommer, hausgemachte Marmelade aus Zitrusfrüchten und Quittenäpfeln, Obst der Saison, Kekse, Käse und Croissants. Einige der Zimmer haben Blick auf das Meer jenseits der Promenade, die anderen bieten eine ruhigere Lage und Blick über die Dächer von Ortigia. Alle Zimmer verfügen über Klimaanlage, Kühlbar, Sat-TV, Internetzugang, sowie Bad mit Dusche oder Wanne. Das Hotel legt besonderen Wert auf Umweltfreundlichkeit und auf das Wohlbefinden seiner Gäste, daher werden Materialen und Produkte sorgfältig nach diesen Gesichtspunkten ausgewählt. Das Haus ist behindertengerecht eingerichtet und bietet einen Internet-Point und einen kleinen Konferenzraum für bis zu 10 Personen. Auf Anfrage werden ein Wäscherei-Service, Shatsu-Massagen und die Organisation von Abendessen für 4 oder mehr Personen angeboten.

Hotel Gutkowski è un piccolo albergo di 25 camere distribuite in due vecchi edifici in origine abitati da artigiani e pescatori e oggi restaurati in uno stile tradizionale rivisitato in luce contemporanea. Si trova sul Lungomare di Levante, nel centro storico di Ortigia; i luoghi di interesse storico dell’isola e i locali pubblici sono raggiungibili a piedi. La prima colazione è a base di prodotti biologici locali: spremute d’arancia in inverno, latte di mandorla e granite in estate, marmellate di agrumi e di mele cotogne fatte in casa, frutta di stagione, biscotti, formaggi, brioches e croissants. Alcune delle camere si affacciano sul mare oltre la strada, le altre, più tranquille, guardano i tetti di Ortigia in un'atmosfera rilassante. Tutte le stanze sono munite di climatizzatore, frigobar, tv satellitare, bagno con vasca o doccia, accesso internet. Particolare attenzione è data al rispetto dell’ambiente nell’uso dei materiali e dei prodotti, per la salute e il benessere degli ospiti. L’albergo è dotato di accesso disabili. Servizi: ascensore, piccola sala riunioni fino a 10 persone, servizio di lavanderia, massaggio shatsu. E' possibile organizzare cene private da 4 a più persone.

The Gutkowski is a small hotel consisting of 25 rooms divided in two antique buildings, in which originally lived fishermen and craftsmen, now restored in a contemporary style, respectful of the tradition. The hotel is located in Ortigia, the historical center, in the eastern beach promenade; all the main historical sites of the centre are easy to reach by a walk. Our breakfast is all based on organic products: orange juice in winter, almond milk and „granita“ (crushed-ice drinks) in summertime, homemade citrus and quince apple jam, fresh fruit, homemade cookies, cheese, brioches and croissants. We care very much about our environment, so we do pay attention in using materials and products good for our customers’ health and well-being. All of the rooms have a pleasant view: some of them face the sea, and from some of the others you can enjoy the beautiful view onthe roofs of Ortigia. All of our rooms are equipped with air conditioning, bar fridge, Sat-TV, ADSL plug for internet connection and private bathroom with shower or bathtub. The hotel is suitable for handicapped persons. Facilities and service: internet point, elevator, small conference room for up to 10 persons, laundry service, shatsu massage, dinners on request for 4 people and more.
