Wir sind nicht nur ein B&B... sondern eine "Locanda". Ein Ort der, entsprechend der Tradition, dem Reisenden zur Herberge wird, die Ruhe und Erholung bietet. Unsere Betten sind sehr bequem, die Zimmer bieten viel Platz und unser Frühstück ist reichlich und wird mit Liebe und Fantasie serviert. San Ginese und unsere Locanda befinden sich Mitten im Grünen, in einer Oase der Ruhe, die nur von den Geräuschen der Natur unterbrochen wird. Wir sind in der Gegend von Compito, nur 8 km von Lucca entfernt, in der Ebene, in der die Strasse von Lucca nach Pontedera führt, an den Hängen des Monte Serra, ein idealer Ort für Ausflüge, Picknicks und Trekking. Von hier aus geniesst man eine hinreissende Aussicht auf Pisa und das gesamte Umland... Die 4 Zimmer der Locanda sind einfach, aber sehr geschmackvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad mit einer geräumigen Dusche mit Radio.

Non siamo solo B&B... ma una Locanda. Un posto che, nella tradizione, offre a chi viaggia un rifugio, una sosta, un ristoro.  nostri letti sono molto comodi, le nostre camere hanno tanto spazio, e le nostre colazioni sono abbondanti, affettuose e fantasiose. Per giungere a San Ginese e alla nostra locanda bisogna inoltrarsi nel verde e nel silenzio, interrotto soltanto dai rumori della campagna... Siamo nel Compito, a otto chilometri dalle cinquecentesche mura di Lucca, in quella zona piana in cui si snoda la strada che da Lucca porta a Pontedera, alle pendici del Monte Serra dove si possono effettuare gite, picnic e trekking e da cui si gode uno straordinario panorama sulla città di Pisa, e non solo... Le 4 camere sono arredate con semplicità, buon gusto e con grande cura per i dettagli. Ognuna con il suo bagno privato dotato di una doccia favolosa, con grande soffione e radio.

We aren’t just a B&B … we are a Locanda (inn), a place that, traditionally, offers a refuge for travellers, a respite place where you can recharge your batteries for that journey ahead, or a place to begin one. Our beds are very comfortable and our rooms are quite spacious, our breakfasts are lavish, served with love and imagination. To get to San Ginese, and to our Locanda, you’ll need to go into green open spaces and into silence … interrupted only by the sounds of the countryside. We are in Compito, ca. 5 miles from the 16th c. walls of Lucca. The area is on level ground and the winding street from Lucca leads to Pontedera, to the slopes of Mt. Serra where you can go on an excursion, have a picnic or go hiking, or just enjoy the breathtaking view overlooking the city of Pisa, and more…There 4 rooms are furnished with simplicity and good taste and with an eye for detail. Every room has a private bath equipped with a fabulous shower.
